The way we accomplish our mission is through the eyes, hands, and voices of our volunteer-led local chapters. With support from Surfrider Foundation HQ, a chapter leadership team is responsible for identifying and carrying out campaigns and programs to advance the Surfrider mission locally.
To do that for Lake Michigan, we’re looking for positive, motivated people who want to make a difference in their community and work with a team of like-minded individuals to volunteer with and lead the Lake Michigan Chapter. Although the chapter has traditionally been based from Grand Haven, we’re scoping interest throughout the state to see how/where to best organize moving forward.
