Surfrider Northern Michigan is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our Great Lakes, waves, and beaches through a local and national activist network. As a new Surfrider Chapter, we’re working hard to organize new campaigns, beach cleanups, and policy discussions from our home base in Traverse City, MI and invite you to join us however you’d like to help! As we recruit more members we’ll be able to schedule more regular beach cleanups, plastic reduction/recycling programs, and community events to spark policy changes for lasting protection of our Great Lakes.
